
Established in 1990 by fundraising consultants who recognised the need to provide a European professional standard, AFC membership has become a hallmark for best practice within the not-for-profit sector.
Committed to advancing philanthropic endeavour, AFC members also subscribe to a rigorous code of practice. Members are subjected to regular client reference checks.

Exams will run from 12pm until 4pm (with registration from 11.15am) on each of the dates listed below:

With our strong emphasis on ethics and standards, the AFC insists on high membership criteria. We attract experienced firms and consultants who understand the essential benefits of putting the interests of others first.
Full membership is only open to firms trading for at least 2 years, whose Principals have been full time fundraising consultants for 5 years and who can supply 4 separate client references.
Each senior consultant will have worked with a wide range of client organisations, in many cases internationally as well. AFC consultants therefore offer a very wide pool of experience gained from exposure to many different situations which is of enormous benefit to clients.
